Michael Brown is the founding attorney of DVG Law Partner LLC. Michael’s legal practice focuses on Contract RightsShareholder RightsEmployee Rights and Fraud Victim Rights. Legal services range from help in pre-litigation negotiations to litigation and class actions. Michael has been recognized as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers publication, and has a “Superb” rating from Avvo. With Michael’s assistance, numerous individual clients have achieved six- and seven-figure outcomes.

Michael has represented hundreds of clients with diverse backgrounds and nationalities. He has represented clients in many legal forums, spanning from administrative hearings to trial and appellate work, including appeals at the state Supreme Court and federal appellate levels.

Some of Michael’s cases have received significant media coverage and requests for commentary.

Michael has served as board Chair of the State Bar’s Civil Rights and Liberties section, and also as Chair of the Office of Lawyer Regulation’s District 10 Committee, which investigates complaints of alleged attorney misconduct. He has served on the faculty of Solo Practice University, and his course program teaches attorneys about the legal practice of employee and plaintiffs’ rights. Prior to his plaintiffs’ rights practice, Michael served as an in-house attorney for entities of Blue Cross Blue Shield and University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he performed legal work in contract and regulatory-compliance law. This “insider’s” experience gives Michael an edge in negotiating with large organizations on behalf of his clients.

Michael is a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he received three Academic Achievement Awards (highest class grade) and Deans List honors (four semesters).

Michael likes to spend his free time with his wife and three children. Together, they enjoy travel (to the Wisconsin outdoors and far beyond), recreation, great Mexican food at certain favorite places, and chasing their dog, whose name is Justice.
